Aircraft Systems Technician

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable Aircraft Systems Technician to join their maintenance and engineering team in Liverpool . This role is integral to ensuring the optimal performance and airworthiness of aircraft by maintaining and repairing a wide range of aircraft systems, including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and avionics components. You will perform routine checks, troubleshoot complex issues, and execute repairs with precision and adherence to strict safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical aptitude and a commitment to upholding the highest standards in aviation maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on various aircraft systems, including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and avionics.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions using advanced diagnostic equipment and technical documentation.
• Install, test, and calibrate aircraft systems and components according to specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, parts used, and discrepancies encountered, using the company's maintenance tracking system .
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and aviation authority directives.
• Collaborate effectively with other technicians, engineers, and supervisors to ensure timely and efficient completion of maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Aircraft Systems Technician or in a similar aircraft maintenance role.
• Demonstrated knowledge of various aircraft systems, including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and avionics.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, test equipment, and interpreting technical manuals and schematics.
• Understanding of aviation regulations and safety standards (e.g., EASA, FAA).
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and under pressure to meet deadlines.
