Job Description
The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment. You will play an important role in helping pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis Assisting with learning activities and classroom tasks Supporting pupils with their individual learning and development plans Helping children develop confidence, independence and social skills Providing emotional and behavioural support where required Working closely with teachers and other professionals Supporting pupils with personal care where necessary Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
About You

Patient, caring and compassionate Confident working with children and young people with additional needs Calm and resilient when faced with challenging situations A strong communicator and team player Enthusiastic about helping pupils reach their potential Reliable, professional and committedPrevious SEN experience is highly desirable, although candidates with relevant experience in education, care, youth work, sports coaching or similar backgrounds are encouraged to apply
