About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable and skilled Appliance Installation Engineer to join their dedicated team serving the Wolverhampton area. This is a customer-facing role that requires excellent technical skills in fitting and connecting various domestic appliances. You will be responsible for ensuring installations are carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard, providing a positive experience for the customer. This is an essential on-site role for an individual with a passion for practical, hands-on work and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, connect, and commission a range of domestic appliances (e.g., washing machines, ovens, refrigerators).
• Perform initial checks and testing to ensure appliances are functioning correctly post-installation.
• Provide customers with clear instructions on appliance usage and basic maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues encountered during or immediately after installation.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area and ensure all waste is disposed of correctly.
• Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and manufacturer instructions during all installations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in appliance installation or a similar trade is essential.
• Good understanding of plumbing and electrical connections relevant to domestic appliances.
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily schedule effectively.
• Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanour.
• Physical fitness to handle the demands of lifting and maneuvering appliances.
• A valid UK driving license is required for site visits.
