About the Role
Our client is seeking a professional and experienced Appliance Installation Engineer to join their remote team, serving customers in and around the Stoke-on-Trent area. This role focuses on the precise and efficient installation of domestic appliances, ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality workmanship and excellent service. You will be the face of the company in customers' homes, requiring not only technical skill but also strong interpersonal abilities. This position offers the flexibility of a remote role, allowing you to manage your schedule while delivering essential services to clients in the Stoke-on-Trent region.
Key Responsibilities
- Install a variety of domestic appliances, including washing machines, dryers, refrigerators, and ovens.
- Ensure all installations are completed safely, correctly, and to the manufacturer's specifications.
- Perform testing and checks to guarantee appliance functionality post-installation.
- Provide customers with clear instructions on appliance operation and basic care.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any installation-related issues encountered on-site.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed via a mobile app or handheld device.
Requirements
- Proven experience in domestic appliance installation or a closely related field.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing and electrical connections relevant to appliance fitting.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a field-based role.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must hold a valid UK driving license and have access to a reliable vehicle.
- Relevant trade qualifications or certifications are highly desirable for this role serving the Stoke-on-Trent area.
