About the Role

Our client is looking for a reliable and efficient Appliance Installation Technician to join their busy team in Birmingham . You will be responsible for the professional installation of various domestic appliances, ensuring they are fitted correctly, safely, and efficiently at customer homes. This role requires a practical approach, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent service. As a key member of the operations team, you will play a vital part in ensuring customer satisfaction with their new installations, working throughout the West Midlands area and contributing to the company's reputation for quality service and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Install a range of domestic appliances, including ovens, washing machines, dishwashers, and refrigerators, in residential properties.
• Ensure all installations are completed to a high standard, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and safety regulations.
• Connect appliances to necessary utilities such as water, gas, and electricity, testing functionality post-installation.
• Address and resolve any minor issues or adjustments required during the installation process.
• Provide customers with basic operational guidance and answer any immediate questions they may have about their new appliance.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area, both in the customer's home and in the company vehicle.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar installation or fitting role, preferably with domestic appliances.
• Proficiency in basic plumbing and electrical connections relevant to appliance installation.
• Ability to read and follow technical manuals and installation diagrams.
• Good physical stamina and dexterity for maneuvering appliances.
• A friendly and professional demeanor, with strong communication skills for interacting with customers in Birmingham and surrounding areas.
