About the Role

Our client is looking for a dependable Appliance Installation Technician to serve customers in and around Norwich . This role involves the professional installation of domestic appliances such as washing machines, refrigerators, and ovens at customer homes. You will ensure all installations are completed safely, correctly, and to the highest standard, providing excellent customer service throughout. The successful candidate will be organised, customer-focused, and possess the technical skills needed to handle various installation scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, connect, and test domestic appliances (e.g., cookers, dishwashers, tumble dryers) at customer residences.
• Ensure all installations are performed safely and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and building regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the installation process.
• Provide clear instructions to customers on appliance usage and basic maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance and workspace.
• Manage installation schedule and complete service reports accurately.

Requirements

• Previous experience in appliance installation or a related technical installation field.
• Proficiency with basic plumbing and electrical connections relevant to appliance installation.
• Ability to read and follow installation manuals and diagrams.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A valid UK driving license and a clean driving record are essential.
