Location: IP17 1UT Hours: 10 hours paid per day Rate: £35 per hour (CIS)
Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Appointed Person to oversee lifting operations on our civil construction site in IP17 1UT. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of all lifting activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and plan lifting operations, including risk assessments and method statements.
- Collaborate with lifting teams to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate equipment selection and inspection.
- Provide guidance and support to team members on best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of all lifting activities and incidents.
Requirements
- Valid Appointed Person certification.
- Proven experience in civil construction lifting operations.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
