About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organised and motivated Apprentice Accountant to join their finance team, operating in a fully remote capacity. This apprenticeship offers an excellent foundation for a career in accounting, providing hands-on experience in financial record-keeping, reconciliation, and reporting. You will work under the supervision of qualified accountants, learning essential financial principles and gaining practical skills in accounting software. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with processing invoices, expenses, and other financial transactions.
- Help reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records, both digital and physical.
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks and ensure compliance with accounting procedures.
- Learn and utilise accounting software to manage financial data.
Requirements
- A strong interest in finance and accounting, with good numerical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency with basic computer skills and willingness to learn accounting software.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities, crucial for remote work.
- Good communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with a remote team.
- Minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, including Maths and English, or equivalent.
