Key Responsibilities

• Assist qualified electricians in the installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
• Learn to read and interpret electrical diagrams , blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with current BS 7671 Wiring Regulations and health and safety standards.
• Conduct routine inspections and fault finding on electrical installations under supervision.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained.
• Participate actively in scheduled training sessions and demonstrate a commitment to skill development.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English at grade C/4 or above.
• A genuine interest in pursuing a career as an electrician .
• Good practical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions precisely.
• Willingness to travel to various work sites within the Aberdeen area.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
