Key Responsibilities

• Assist qualified engineers in the installation, servicing, and repair of domestic gas boilers and appliances.
• Learn to diagnose faults and carry out necessary repairs efficiently and safely.
• Ensure all work complies with current Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations.
• Conduct safety checks and provide advice to customers on gas safety and energy efficiency.
• Maintain accurate work records and complete necessary documentation.
• Participate actively in all training courses and demonstrate a commitment to achieving Gas Safe registration.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English at grade C/4 or above.
• A strong interest in gas engineering and a desire to gain Gas Safe accreditation.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to undertake training and work across the Wolverhampton area, with potential for remote assessments.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of work.
