Apprentice Joiner

About the Role

Our client is looking for eager individuals to join their team in Bradford as Apprentice Joiners. This apprenticeship provides a comprehensive pathway to becoming a skilled craftsperson in all aspects of joinery, from site work to workshop production. You will learn to read architectural drawings, use hand and power tools safely, and construct and install a wide range of timber-based structures and fittings. We seek candidates who are reliable, have a good eye for detail, and are passionate about working with wood to create high-quality finishes in both domestic and commercial settings across Bradford and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in measuring, cutting, and shaping timber materials.
• Learn to assemble and erect timber structures, frames, and fittings.
• Install doors, windows, stairs, and other joinery elements.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Maintain tools and work areas to high standards of cleanliness and organization.

Requirements

• A keen interest in carpentry and joinery.
• Good practical and spatial reasoning skills.
• Ability to work diligently and follow instructions accurately.
• Must be physically fit for manual work.
• Commitment to completing the apprenticeship and achieving qualifications.
