About the Role
Our client in Oxford is seeking an ambitious individual with a passion for engineering to join their team as an Apprentice Mechanical Engineer . This is a fantastic opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience in mechanical engineering principles and applications within a professional workshop and office environment. You will work alongside experienced engineers, contributing to design, development, and manufacturing processes, and receive comprehensive training to build a successful career in engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and systems using CAD software.
- Support the manufacturing and assembly processes, ensuring quality and precision.
- Participate in testing and validation of mechanical designs and prototypes.
- Learn to conduct technical analysis and problem-solving related to mechanical engineering challenges.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and technical reports.
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies in the workplace.
Requirements
- A strong interest in mechanical engineering and a desire to learn.
- Basic understanding of mechanical principles and engineering concepts.
- Proficiency in mathematics and physics.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to commit to the apprenticeship program and attend the office/workshop in Oxford .
