Our client is looking for an eager and dedicated Apprentice Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team in Leicester . Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and testing of mechanical components and systems.
• Support senior engineers in creating technical drawings, schematics, and reports using CAD software.
• Participate in the fabrication, assembly, and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
• Conduct research and gather data to support engineering analysis and problem-solving.
• Adhere to strict health and safety regulations on the workshop floor and in all project activities.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project milestones are met on time and to specification.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades 9-4 (or equivalent), including Maths and a Science subject, or a Level 2 Engineering qualification.
• Demonstrable interest in mechanical engineering principles and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to understand and follow technical instructions accurately.
• Basic understanding of workshop tools and safety procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Enthusiasm and a proactive approach to tasks.
