This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in mechanical engineering, gaining practical skills in assembling, installing, and maintaining machinery. You will work under the guidance of experienced fitters, learning the trade from the ground up. This apprenticeship combines on-the-job training with off-site technical education, providing a comprehensive understanding of mechanical systems and components, contributing to vital manufacturing and engineering processes within a robust industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the assembly and fitting of mechanical components and systems.
• Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Support the installation of machinery and equipment at various sites.
• Participate in routine maintenance and repair tasks under supervision.
• Understand and adhere to health and safety regulations in the workshop.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
