About the Role

A highly respected plumbing and heating services company in Plymouth is seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Plumber to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to embark on a career in a skilled trade, learning all aspects of domestic and commercial plumbing installation and maintenance. You will be mentored by experienced plumbers, gaining practical experience on a variety of sites, and working towards industry-standard qualifications. This role is crucial for maintaining essential services and ensuring client satisfaction within the Plymouth community.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of water systems, heating systems, and pipework.
• Learn to use a range of plumbing tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Read and interpret plumbing drawings and specifications.
• Carry out basic tasks such as pipe cutting, fitting, soldering, and jointing.
• Respond to emergency call-outs to fix leaks and other plumbing issues under supervision.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment and ensure good customer service.

Requirements

• A strong interest in plumbing and a desire to learn the trade.
• Good practical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely at all times.
• Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Team player with a willingness to take on responsibility.
• Must have or be working towards GCSEs in Maths and English (Grades A*-C/9-4).
