The Duchy of Cornwall is looking for Apprentice Property Maintenance Operatives to join its skilled trades team on the Isles of Scilly. This is a brilliant opportunity to build practical skills across plumbing, joinery, decorating, general repairs and refurbishments, and start a lasting career in property maintenance.

What You'll Do

• Plumbing - repairs, fixtures and fittings, basic systems
• Electrics - learning how building electrical systems operate, assisting with maintenance activities, recognising faults
• Joinery & Carpentry - doors, frames, fixtures
• Painting & Decorating - preparation and finishing to a high standard
• General building work - repairs, brick/block, plaster and tiling
• Full refurbishments - including bathroom and kitchen fit-outs from start to finish

Training Outcome

Potential to become a full time role, alongside the potential to specialise in another discipline or trade.
