About the Role

Our client, a leading research institution in Cambridge , is seeking a motivated Apprentice Scientific Researcher to join their innovative laboratory. Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior researchers in designing and executing scientific experiments.
• Perform laboratory procedures, including sample preparation, analysis, and data recording.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of experimental procedures and results.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Conduct literature reviews and assist in the interpretation of experimental data.
• Contribute to the preparation of research reports, presentations, and potentially scientific papers.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 A-Levels (or equivalent) in a relevant science subject (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
• A strong passion for scientific inquiry and a desire to pursue a career in research.
• Excellent attention to detail and meticulous record-keeping skills.
• Ability to follow complex instructions and protocols accurately.
• Good problem-solving skills and the capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
• Familiarity with laboratory safety procedures.
