About the Role

Our client requires a certified and experienced Arborist to join their team in Leeds . This role is crucial for the health, safety, and maintenance of trees within urban and rural environments. You will be responsible for tree inspection, pruning, removal, and planting, ensuring the long-term well-being of the arboreal landscape. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tree biology, pathology, and safety protocols, combined with practical climbing and rigging skills. Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed tree risk assessments and recommend appropriate management strategies.
• Conduct specialized tree pruning, shaping, and removal using safe and efficient techniques.
• Operate climbing equipment, chainsaws, and other arboricultural tools with precision and care.
• Plant new trees according to best practices for establishment and long-term health.
• Provide expert advice on tree care, species selection, and landscape planning to clients and stakeholders.
• Maintain all equipment and vehicles, ensuring safety compliance.

Requirements

• Certification from a recognized arboricultural association (e.g., ISA Certified Arborist).
• Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in professional arboriculture .
• Proficiency in tree climbing, rigging, and aerial rescue techniques.
• Strong knowledge of tree biology, pests, diseases, and identification.
• Valid UK driving license and ability to operate related machinery.
