About the Role

Our client, an established architectural practice in Portsmouth , is looking for a motivated Architectural Assistant (Part II) to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to gain practical experience across a range of project typologies, contributing to design development, technical detailing, and project coordination. Working closely with senior architects and project leaders, you will support the delivery of high-quality schemes within the vibrant Hampshire area, developing your skills and progressing towards professional qualification.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of architectural designs, drawings, and presentations using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Support the development of technical details and construction information for projects.
• Conduct site visits to gather information and assist with site analysis.
• Help coordinate project information with consultants and contractors under the guidance of senior staff.
• Contribute to the production of planning applications and building regulation submissions.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to design discussions and problem-solving in Portsmouth .

Requirements

• RIBA Part II qualification or equivalent architectural degree.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is essential, with experience in BIM workflows desirable.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating design potential and visual communication skills.
• Understanding of UK planning and building regulations.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive attitude.
• Desire to pursue professional qualification and develop a career in architecture within Hampshire .
