Architectural Designer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Architectural Designer to join their established practice in Coventry . You will be involved in all stages of the design process, from initial concept development and feasibility studies through to detailed design and delivery. Working within a hybrid model, you will collaborate closely with senior architects and the wider project team, contributing innovative ideas and technical solutions. This role offers the chance to work on a variety of residential, commercial, and public-sector projects, making a tangible impact on the built environment of the West Midlands . We are looking for a passionate individual who can blend artistic vision with technical rigor.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of architectural designs, including concept sketches, 3D models, and visualisations.
• Prepare planning applications and ensure designs meet regulatory requirements.
• Produce detailed drawings and specifications for construction using relevant software.
• Coordinate with external consultants, such as structural engineers and M&E specialists.
• Participate in client meetings and present design proposals effectively.
• Conduct site visits and surveys to inform design development and resolve site issues.

Requirements

• Degree in Architecture or a closely related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD , Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• A strong understanding of architectural principles and design theory.
• Experience with UK planning procedures and building regulations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail.
