About the Role

Our client, a dynamic and innovative architectural studio based in Portsmouth , is seeking a creative Architectural Designer to contribute to their award-winning projects. This role is office-based, fostering close collaboration and mentorship within the design team. You will be involved in the conceptualisation and development of designs across a range of sectors, including residential, commercial, and urban regeneration. We are looking for a passionate designer with a strong visual flair and a meticulous approach to design development, keen to make a significant contribution to cutting-edge architectural solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop innovative architectural concepts and design proposals.
• Produce high-quality visualisations, renderings, and presentation materials.
• Assist in the preparation of design development drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with senior architects and project managers on design strategy and problem-solving.
• Research materials, building systems, and innovative design solutions.
• Participate in design critiques and contribute actively to studio design discussions.

Requirements

• Degree in Architecture or a related design discipline.
• Proficiency in Rhino , Grasshopper , and Adobe Creative Suite is essential.
• Strong portfolio showcasing design talent and conceptual thinking.
• Excellent visual communication and presentation skills.
• A keen interest in contemporary architectural trends and sustainable design.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment in our Portsmouth studio.
