About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Architectural Project Architect to manage and deliver a variety of challenging projects from their office in Nottingham . This role requires a qualified architect with a proven track record in leading projects through all design and construction stages, ensuring technical quality, budget adherence, and timely completion. You will coordinate design teams, liaise with clients and contractors, and oversee the production of technical documentation. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on architect to take ownership of projects and contribute to the success of a well-established practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and technical development of architectural projects from inception to post-completion.
- Prepare detailed design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- Manage project delivery, including programming, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and collaborate effectively with internal teams, consultants, and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with building regulations, planning policies, and other statutory requirements.
- Conduct site inspections and administer building contracts.
Requirements
- Professional qualification in Architecture (RIBA Part III or equivalent) with proven experience as a Project Architect.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating successful project delivery across various sectors.
- Proficiency in Revit and other architectural design and documentation software.
- Thorough understanding of UK building regulations, construction methods, and contract administration.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage client relationships and expectations effectively.
