About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Architectural Project Manager to join their remote team. This role is crucial for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of diverse architectural projects across the country. You will be responsible for coordinating project teams, managing client relationships, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets, and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of architectural processes, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently from a remote setting, contributing to the firm's reputation for efficient and high-quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of architectural projects, from inception and planning through to completion and handover.
- Coordinate and lead multidisciplinary project teams, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project.
- Identify and manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
- Oversee the procurement process, consultant selection, and contract administration.
Requirements
- Professional qualification in Architecture or a related construction management field.
- Proven experience in managing architectural projects from start to finish, preferably in a remote capacity.
- Strong understanding of architectural design principles, construction methods, and building regulations.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Procore) and CAD /BIM tools.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders effectively.
