Architectural Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of diverse architectural projects from their office in Norwich, Norfolk, UK . This role demands strong leadership, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of the architectural design and construction process. You will be responsible for managing project lifecycles, coordinating teams, liaising with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a pivotal role for driving project success within our Norwich -based practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of architectural projects, from initial planning and design through to construction and handover.
• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule.
• Coordinate and lead project teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular project updates and managing expectations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and quality standards.
• Oversee site activities, resolve construction issues, and ensure project milestones are met.

Requirements

• Professional qualification in Architecture or a related field, with significant project management experience.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex architectural projects.
• Proficiency in project management software and architectural design tools (e.g., MS Project, Revit).
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, contracts, and UK planning regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
