Senior Architectural Technician
Location: London Working Pattern: Office-based, with flexibility to work remotely on occasion Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technician to join an established and busy architectural practice in London.
The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, with a minimum of 5 years' experience working within an architectural practice and proven experience delivering projects through to completion.
The Role
You will be responsible for producing and coordinating high-quality technical information across projects, working closely with architects, consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders.
The role would suit a technically strong Architectural Technician or Technologist who is confident taking responsibility for projects and is comfortable working directly with contractors and site teams.
Key Responsibilities
Producing detailed architectural and technical drawings using Revit Preparing and coordinating technical information throughout the project lifecycle Working with NBS and producing detailed specifications Taking responsibility for the technical delivery of projects Supporting and managing projects at a senior level Liaising directly with contractors, consultants and other project stakeholders Attending site visits and resolving technical issues during construction Reviewing drawings and technical information to ensure accuracy and compliance Coordinating information across multiple disciplines Supporting junior members of the technical team where required
About You
Minimum 5 years' experience as an Architectural Technician or Architectural Technologist Strong proficiency in Revit Experience working with NBS Proven experience delivering architectural projects from technical design through to completion Strong technical drawing and detailing abilities Previous experience dealing directly with contractors and site teams Comfortable attending site and resolving technical queries Experience with project running at a senior level Strong understanding of UK construction processes, regulations and technical standards Excellent communication and coordination skills Able to work independently while contributing effectively within a wider project team
