About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Technician to join their established practice in Stoke-on-Trent . This role is crucial in translating architectural designs into buildable technical drawings and specifications. You will work on a variety of projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance with building regulations, and efficient construction detailing. Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed technical drawings, construction details, and specifications for architectural projects.
• Ensure all drawings and documentation comply with current UK building regulations and standards.
• Coordinate technical information with engineers, contractors, and other project consultants.
• Conduct site surveys and assist in resolving technical queries during the construction phase.
• Manage and update project drawing registers and ensure efficient document control.
• Assist in the preparation of tender packages and construction phase plans.

Requirements

• HND/HNC in Architectural Technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience as an Architectural Technician , with a strong portfolio of technical drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential; experience with other BIM software is an advantage.
• Thorough understanding of UK building regulations, planning policies, and construction methods.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a project team.
