About the Role

Our client seeks a meticulous and skilled Architectural Technician to join their vibrant team in Manchester . This role is crucial in translating architectural designs into buildable information, working closely with architects and project managers on a variety of commercial and residential projects. You will be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings, coordinating with consultants, and ensuring that designs are practical and meet regulatory requirements. This is an ideal position for a detail-oriented professional who excels in a collaborative environment and is looking to contribute significantly to the successful execution of architectural projects within the North West region.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed technical drawings, construction documentation, and BIM models using Revit .
Coordinate architectural designs with structural engineers, MEP consultants, and other specialists.
Conduct site surveys and analyse site conditions to inform design development.
Assist in the preparation of planning applications and building regulations submissions.
Ensure adherence to project specifications, building codes, and quality standards.
Support architects in design development and problem-solving during the construction phase.

Requirements

HNC/HND or degree in Architectural Technology or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience as an Architectural Technician, preferably in the Manchester area.
Proficiency in Revit is essential; experience with AutoCAD is also beneficial.
Strong understanding of UK building regulations and construction methods.
Excellent technical drawing and modelling skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively within a project team.
