About the Role
Our client, a reputable architectural practice based in Liverpool , is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Technician to join their team. This role is integral to the technical delivery of projects, focusing on the creation of precise construction drawings, technical specifications, and detailed design information. You will work closely with the architectural team to ensure all technical aspects of projects are accurately documented and compliant with current building standards. The position offers a hybrid working model, blending remote work with essential on-site collaboration in Merseyside .
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed architectural drawings , plans, sections, and elevations using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Develop technical specifications for materials, construction methods, and finishes.
- Coordinate with engineers and other consultants to integrate their design information into architectural drawings.
- Prepare planning application drawings and Building Regulations submission packages.
- Conduct site surveys and measurements to gather accurate project data.
- Ensure all technical documentation complies with current UK building regulations and industry best practices.
Requirements
- HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Architectural Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Architectural Technician, with a strong portfolio of technical drawings.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential.
- Good understanding of UK building regulations and construction methods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical documentation.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, demonstrating good time management.
