About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed architectural drawings, construction details, and technical specifications using CAD and BIM software.
• Assist architects in developing design proposals and preparing planning application documents.
• Coordinate technical information with external consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure all technical documentation complies with current building regulations and relevant UK standards.
• Conduct site visits to gather information, verify dimensions, and monitor construction progress as required.
• Maintain and organize project drawing files and documentation systems.

Requirements

• HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Architectural Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Architectural Technician, preferably within an architectural practice.
• High proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential; experience with other 3D modeling software is a plus.
• Strong understanding of UK building regulations and construction processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in technical documentation.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
