About the Role
Our client is looking for a meticulous and skilled Architectural Technician to join their well-respected firm in Reading . This role is central to translating architectural designs into practical, buildable information. You will work closely with architects and project managers, producing detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation for a variety of projects. Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed technical drawings, plans, sections, and elevations using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Develop specifications for materials, finishes, and construction details.
- Assist in the preparation of Building Regulations and planning application documentation.
- Conduct site inspections to verify design details and construction progress.
- Coordinate technical information with consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
Requirements
- A relevant qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as an Architectural Technician, with strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Solid understanding of UK building regulations and construction practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical documentation.
- Good communication and collaborative skills, suitable for a hybrid work environment in Reading .
