Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed technical drawings, plans, sections, and elevations using CAD software.
- Prepare construction documentation, including specifications and schedules, for tender and site use.
- Ensure all drawings and documentation comply with current building regulations and standards.
- Coordinate with other consultants and contractors to resolve technical queries during construction.
- Conduct site visits to verify existing conditions and monitor construction progress against design drawings.
- Assist in the preparation of planning applications and Building Regulations submissions.
Requirements
- A qualification in Architectural Technology, Construction, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience as an Architectural Technician or in a similar technical role.
- Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or ArchiCAD.
- Good understanding of construction methods, materials, and UK building regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
