Job Description
A great next step for an ambitious Architectural Technologist looking to grow, take on more responsibility, and work within a supportive, design‑driven team.
About the role
Are you ready to move into a role where your technical skills, creativity and project ownership can really develop? This Cheshire‑based RIBA Chartered practice is expanding and now looking for an Architectural Technologist with solid industry experience who’s eager to progress.
You’ll work in brand‑new, modern offices, enjoy a hybrid working model that genuinely works, and contribute to a wide range of commercial‑sector projects across the North‑west and UK. This is a practice known for its stability, strong reputation, and collaborative culture — now 40+ years established and home to around 25 talented architectural and construction professionals.
What you’ll be doing
Supporting project delivery across commercial schemes, contributing to both design and technical stages
Producing coordinated technical information, drawings and specifications
Working closely with Architects, Technologists and external consultants
Managing elements of your own workload with guidance from senior team members
Growing your confidence in running smaller projects or defined work packages
Developing towards more responsibility and long‑term progression pathways
What they’re looking for
Degree‑qualified Architectural Technologist
Around 3–5 years UK practice experience
Strong technical understanding and good design awareness
Confidence working on commercial‑sector projects (or a willingness to learn)
A proactive, organised approach and good communication skills
Revit experience is welcome but not essential — training can be provided
Why this role?
You’ll join a practice that invests heavily in development. There’s a clear route to senior level, with opportunities to take on more responsibility as you grow. You’ll be supported by experienced colleagues while still having the autonomy to shape your own workload.
If you’re ready to take the next step in your architectural career and join a friendly, forward‑thinking team, we’d love to hear from you
