Architectural Technologist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly competent Architectural Technologist to join their dynamic practice in Glasgow . This role focuses on the technical aspects of architectural design, translating conceptual ideas into detailed technical drawings and specifications ready for construction. You will play a key role in ensuring the technical feasibility and buildability of projects, working closely with architects and contractors. Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, and schedules for architectural projects.
• Ensure designs comply with all relevant building regulations , standards, and legislation.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, and suppliers to resolve technical queries during construction.
• Conduct site inspections and surveys to monitor progress and quality.
• Assist in the preparation of tender documentation and contract administration.
• Advise on building materials, construction methods, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Qualification in Architectural Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Architectural Technologist or similar technical role.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD , Revit, and other relevant CAD software.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and UK building regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage multiple tasks.
