Architectural Technologist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and technically proficient Architectural Technologist to join their expanding, fully remote team. This role is critical in translating architectural designs into detailed, constructible documentation. You will be responsible for producing high-quality drawings, specifications, and Building Information Models (BIM) for a diverse range of projects. Working collaboratively with architects and project managers, you will ensure technical accuracy and adherence to building regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed technical drawings, construction details, and specifications using CAD and BIM software .
• Prepare and submit applications for Building Regulations approval and liaise with local authorities.
• Conduct site inspections and surveys to gather necessary information and monitor construction progress.
• Coordinate with external consultants, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless project integration.
• Assist in the preparation of tender documentation and provide technical support during the construction phase.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Architectural Technologist or similar role.
• Proficiency in industry-standard BIM software , particularly Revit, and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of UK building regulations, construction methods, and materials.
• Excellent technical drawing and documentation skills.
• Self-motivated and disciplined, with the ability to manage workload effectively in a fully remote environment.
