Architectural Technologist

About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled Architectural Technologist to join their established practice in Coventry . You will play a crucial role in translating architectural designs into practical, buildable solutions, focusing on technical detailing and construction documentation. This hybrid role offers a blend of on-site collaboration and remote flexibility, allowing you to contribute to a variety of exciting projects. You will work closely with architects and contractors, ensuring the technical integrity and feasibility of designs while adhering to project timelines and budgets, fostering innovation and precision in every aspect of your work.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, and building information models (BIM).
• Liaise with contractors, engineers, and other consultants to coordinate design elements and resolve technical queries.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design intent and quality standards.
• Assist in the preparation of tender documents and contract administration.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant building regulations, standards, and health and safety legislation.

Requirements

• HNC/HND or Degree in Architectural Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Architectural Technologist .
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
• Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and construction practices.
• Excellent technical detailing skills and problem-solving abilities.
