Architectural Technologist

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated Architectural Technologist to join their expanding, fully remote team. This role is central to translating architectural designs into technically sound construction information. You will be responsible for producing detailed drawings, specifications, and ensuring projects adhere to all relevant building regulations and standards. Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed technical drawings, schedules, and specifications for construction projects.
• Ensure designs comply with current UK building regulations, planning laws, and health and safety legislation.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure technical accuracy and project progression.
• Conduct site inspections and technical surveys as needed to support design development.
• Maintain and update project documentation and technical information systems.

Requirements

• Relevant degree or HND in Architectural Technology or a closely related discipline.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of technical drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD , Revit , and other relevant design software.
• Thorough knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively in a remote setting.
