About the Role
Our client, a dynamic architectural design studio in Sheffield , is seeking a talented Architectural Visualiser to enhance their project communications. This role is crucial for bringing architectural designs to life through compelling and photorealistic visualisations, animations, and virtual reality experiences. You will work closely with the design team to interpret briefs and translate architectural concepts into stunning visual narratives that support planning applications, marketing, and client presentations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to hone your visualisation skills within a creative environment, with a hybrid working arrangement providing flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality 3D models, photorealistic renderings, and animations of architectural projects.
- Interpret architectural drawings and designs to produce accurate and aesthetically pleasing visualisations.
- Collaborate with architects and designers to refine visual concepts and ensure alignment with design intent.
- Manage the visualisation pipeline, from initial asset creation to final render output and post-production.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest visualisation software, techniques, and rendering technologies.
- Develop and maintain a library of high-quality visual assets for the practice.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Architectural Visualiser or similar role, with a strong portfolio.
- Expert proficiency in 3D modelling software such as 3ds Max , Rhino, or SketchUp.
- Advanced skills in rendering engines (e.g., V-Ray, Corona Renderer, Lumion).
- Proficiency in post-production software such as Adobe Photoshop and After Effects.
- A good understanding of architectural design principles and the ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and a creative eye for composition, lighting, and colour.
