Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled deliveries and collections within the assigned Reading area and its surroundings.
• Safely operate a company delivery vehicle , complying with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Plan daily routes to maximize efficiency and minimize travel time.
• Handle goods with care during loading, transit, and unloading.
• Securely obtain proof of delivery and maintain accurate delivery records.
• Maintain regular communication with the operations hub regarding delivery progress and any potential issues.

Requirements

• Valid UK driving license, with a good driving record.
• Previous experience in a delivery driver or similar role is advantageous.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Reading area and its transport infrastructure.
• Ability to manage workload independently and meet delivery targets.
• Physical stamina for lifting and moving goods as part of the job.
