Homeownership Area Manager – North Counties
Are you an experienced housing professional with a passion for delivering excellent customer service and creating thriving Later Living Communities?
We're looking for an Area Manager to lead a team of Community Managers across our North Counties region and play a key role in delivering high-quality housing management services to our homeowners and residents. This is an exciting opportunity to lead from the front, driving operational performance, customer satisfaction and service improvement across our Later Living communities. You'll provide leadership, direction and support to a dispersed team, ensuring residents live in safe, welcoming communities and receive a consistently excellent service.
This role is based within our North Counties region and can be based from either our Houghton Regis or Reading office, depending on the successful candidate's location. As a visible operational leader, you'll regularly travel to communities across the region to support colleagues and residents.
What You’ll Need
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams within housing or a similar customer-focused environment.
- Strong housing management experience, ideally within homeownership, leasehold, freehold or specialist housing services.
- Strong financial management skills, including experience of managing budgets, service charges and reserve funds.
- Knowledge of homeownership legislation, regulatory requirements and landlord responsibilities.
- Experience managing operational performance and delivering service improvements.
- Experience managing health and safety compliance within residential housing environments.
- Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- A housing-related qualification such as CIH, or equivalent experience, is desirable.
