Area Sales Manager (Agri/Equine) – South England

We're recruiting on behalf of a market-leading manufacturer with a strong reputation across the rural sector. Following continued growth, they're looking for an Area Sales Manager to take ownership of an established territory across the South of England and help drive the next phase of growth.

This isn't a desk job. You'll be out meeting customers, developing existing accounts, spotting new opportunities, and becoming a trusted partner to businesses across your region.

What you'll be doing

• Building strong relationships with existing customers and key accounts.
• Identifying and winning new business opportunities throughout your territory.
• Working closely with distributors, merchants, and end users.
• Managing your sales pipeline and customer activity through CRM.
• Sharing market insight and customer feedback to help shape future growth.
• Attending agricultural events, trade shows, and open days.

You might already be an Area Sales Manager, Territory Manager or Account Manager, or perhaps you're looking to step into a more autonomous field sales role.

We'll be keen to speak with people who have:

• Experience in B2B field sales
• A track record of hitting targets and growing accounts
• Agricultural, equine or wider rural sector knowledge
• Strong relationship-building and commercial skills
• The drive to develop new business opportunities
• Excellent organisation and territory management skills
• The ideal candidate will be based in Devon, Somerset or Dorset, although other South West locations will be considered.
