Area sales Manager

Overview

Salary : Basic Salary 44400 OTE 54000 + car + excellent benefits + 25 days holidays + bank holidays

Location : Covering Scotland and part of the North; ideally located across the central Scotland belt

Opportunity : A consultative sales role selling into government departments and their contractors for a well-established manufacturer of premium products with a wide range of industries.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a National sales team and manage an established account base in the area, with accountability to grow and develop these accounts and win new business.
• Prepare quotes for customers and book appointments, with on-site visits planned for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
• Work from home on Mondays and Fridays and maintain strong organisation and time management to cover a very large territory.

What you’ll be doing (example schedule)

• Out visiting customers on a call plan on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
• Coordinate with customers to advance the sales cycle and close opportunities within the territory.

Qualifications and experience

• Minimum of 3 years field sales experience.
• Ideally experience selling a product rather than a service.
• Professional, friendly, and able to prioritise work responsibilities.
