Overview
Area Sales Manager - Oxford Homebased / Field Sales. Up to £40,000+ with bonuses, company car & home-based contract. Kff is a regional food wholesaler with around 250 colleagues based near Maidstone, Kent. We are part of Sysco, the world’s largest foodservice provider with over 65,000 colleagues globally. Kff has a family feel with a close-knit team, supplying both local pub and restaurant customers as well as delivering direct to the caterer. Responsibilities
- Solely responsible for the success of your own territory by achieving targets: gain, grow and retain customers delivering profitable volume growth versus targets.
- Research your target audience and opportunities in your territory.
- Build and leverage strong customer relationships through constant selling, face-to-face meetings and understanding customer needs.
- Onboard new customers effectively and successfully while maintaining close working relationships with existing accounts and tracking activity.
- Partner customers to understand their growth plans, add value, and offer a wide range of practical solutions and products.
- Understand competitor activity and proposals, ensuring you offer the best local solutions.
What we are looking for / Qualifications
- Ability to win new business and maximise sales through existing customers; experience in Field Sales or Account Management is preferred.
- Commercially astute with strong relationship-building skills.
- Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with data to inform decisions.
- Passion for sales; a food industry background is desirable but not essential.
