A specialist secondary school in Reading is seeking a caring and enthusiastic ASD Assistant. This role is ideal for aspiring Psychologists, Therapists, or Teachers looking to develop valuable experience in SEN.

The Role as an ASD Assistant

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with ASD.
• Support communication, emotional regulation, confidence, and independence.
• Build positive relationships and encourage engagement in learning.
• Work alongside teachers and SEN staff to create a supportive environment.
• Monitor students' wellbeing, behaviour, and progress.

We're Looking For an ASD Assistant who

• Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic individuals.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A genuine interest in ASD, SEN, psychology, or education.
• A calm, positive, and adaptable approach.

Job Details

• Location: Reading
• Setting: Secondary SEN School
• Start: ASAP
• Pay: £93-£110 per day
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
• Contract: Full-time
