Assembly Line Team Leader

About the Role

Our client is looking for a motivated and experienced Assembly Line Team Leader to join their production team in Wolverhampton . In this hands-on role, you will lead a team of assembly operatives, ensuring that production targets are met efficiently and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for guiding your team, monitoring workflow, and maintaining a safe working environment on the assembly line. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong leadership skills and a keen eye for detail within a manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of assembly operatives to achieve production goals.
• Oversee daily operations of the assembly line, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to schedules.
• Monitor product quality and identify any defects, taking immediate corrective action.
• Ensure all team members adhere to health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Train new team members and provide ongoing guidance and support.
• Report production metrics and any issues to the Production Supervisor.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Assembly Line Leader or in a similar supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of assembly processes and quality control standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Awareness of health and safety regulations in a factory environment.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
