Assembly Operative

About the Role

Our client is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Assembly Operatives to join their manufacturing facility in Nottingham . You will be responsible for assembling components and sub-assemblies to create finished products, working efficiently and to precise specifications. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions are paramount. You will contribute directly to the quality and timely delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble products and components according to detailed work instructions and quality standards .
• Operate various assembly tools and machinery safely and effectively.
• Perform quality checks on assembled parts, identifying and reporting any defects.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Assist with material handling and inventory management as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth production flow.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an assembly or manufacturing role is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to read and understand assembly drawings and specifications.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and follow detailed instructions accurately.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to quality work.
• Awareness of health and safety protocols in a factory setting.
