Our client seeks a diligent and skilled Assembly Technician to contribute to their manufacturing output in Wolverhampton . This role involves assembling components and sub-assemblies to create finished products according to precise specifications. You will work within a modern facility, using various tools and equipment to ensure accuracy and efficiency. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining hands-on assembly with remote quality checks and documentation, allowing for a flexible and productive work-life balance in the heart of the West Midlands.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble components and products according to detailed work instructions and technical drawings.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Conduct in-process quality checks to ensure assemblies meet standards.
- Identify and report any faulty components or assembly issues.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Assist with testing and final inspection of assembled products, with some remote reporting duties.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an assembly or manufacturing role is essential.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and technical diagrams.
- Proficiency with hand tools and basic power tools.
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes, with capacity for remote documentation.
