Assembly Technician

About the Role

Our client seeks a diligent and skilled Assembly Technician to contribute to their manufacturing output in Wolverhampton . This role involves assembling components and sub-assemblies to create finished products according to precise specifications. You will work within a modern facility, using various tools and equipment to ensure accuracy and efficiency. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining hands-on assembly with remote quality checks and documentation, allowing for a flexible and productive work-life balance in the heart of the West Midlands.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble components and products according to detailed work instructions and technical drawings.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Conduct in-process quality checks to ensure assemblies meet standards.
• Identify and report any faulty components or assembly issues.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Assist with testing and final inspection of assembled products, with some remote reporting duties.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an assembly or manufacturing role is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and technical diagrams.
• Proficiency with hand tools and basic power tools.
