The School has made significant advances in both research and education and seeks to build upon that success to become one of the UK’s leading law schools as it takes advantage of the new regulatory landscape for legal education. An opportunity has arisen for an Assessments Officer to join us.  ** Responsibilities – The appointed Assessments Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and administration of all assessments for a selection of our programmes.  This will include responding to student queries, drafting student communications, maintaining accurate student records, arranging the release of assessment papers and assessment submissions and organising exams and filmed assessments. ** Person Specification – The successful candidate will be educated to A-Level standard or equivalent and have relevant experience of working in a busy customer focused environment in Higher Education or a similar setting. They should be confident using IT systems, including MS office packages, spreadsheets and databases. Experience of Moodle and student records systems (particularly SITS) is highly desirable. The successful candidate will have well-developed verbal and written communication skills, excellent organisational skills and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.  They will also be committed to delivering high quality services to students and staff. ** Additional InformationClosing date for applications:  13th September 2026 at 11:59pmInterviews are scheduled to take place on: TBCThe selection process will involve an interview and assessment. Interviews will last no more than 30 minutes.
