About the Role
Our client is seeking a diligent Asset Integrity Engineer to bolster their technical team in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, UK . This role is critical for ensuring the ongoing safety, reliability, and compliance of the company's physical assets within the energy sector. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies for inspection, maintenance, and repair, focusing on preventing failures and extending asset lifespan. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage comprehensive asset integrity management (AIM) plans and strategies.
- Oversee inspection programs, including non-destructive testing (NDT) and integrity assessments.
- Analyze inspection data to identify potential risks and recommend timely maintenance or repair actions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Liaise with maintenance teams, operations, and external inspection bodies.
- Contribute to the risk-based inspection (RBI) process and maintain asset integrity databases.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
- Experience (5+ years) in asset integrity , maintenance, or inspection roles within the energy industry.
- Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., API 510, 570, 653).
- Familiarity with NDT methods and their application.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret complex technical data.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing maintenance strategies.
