Comprehensive induction and onboarding programmeDuties of the Assistant Aftersales Manager:
Support the effective management of the dealership’s aftersales operation
Oversee service department activities to optimise efficiency and profitability
Lead, motivate, and develop team members to meet departmental and business objectives
Ensure high standards of customer care, resolving concerns professionally and promptly
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through excellent service and communication
Proactively identify solutions to improve customer satisfaction and service quality
Utilise available resources effectively to support dealership performance
Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues
Identify opportunities for process improvements, increased quality, and reduced inefficiencies
Maintain high standards of professionalism, compliance, and customer careRequirements of the Assistant Aftersales Manager:
Proven experience as an Assistant Aftersales Manager, Service Manager, Workshop Controller, or similar leadership role within a franchised automotive dealership
Strong knowledge of aftersales operations and service department processes
Experience using Keyloop/Kerridge dealership management systems
Track record of delivering excellent customer service and achieving operational targets
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
Automotive technical qualifications such as NVQ, ATA, HFC, or equivalent are desirable
Full UK driving licence with fewer than 9 penalty points
