Assistant Buyer

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Assistant Buyer to join our dynamic Menswear Buying team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong buying experience who is ready to make a real impact, taking ownership of key buying responsibilities while working closely with the Buyer and wider team to deliver sales, stock and margin targets.

You'll bring passion, commercial awareness and energy to help shape exciting product ranges, identify opportunities and influence decisions. This role offers genuine scope to develop your skills, broaden your buying responsibilities and grow your career within our Buying team as you build confidence and experience.

• BuildarelationshipwithsuppliersaswellasBuying,Merchandisingand Garment Technology teams.
• EngagewiththeCreativeandEcommerceteamtoensureproductive relationships.
• Leadcriticalpathmeetingswithintheteam,includingpresentingtotheBuyer and Buying Manager. Being proactive by highlighting any potential issues.
• AssisttheBuyerwithproductdevelopmentandprice negotiation.
• DeveloparangewiththeBuyertoattractourtargetcustomer,ensuringthe best price and quality.
• Analysisofsalesandperformancefordirectandretail,toenabletrade reactions to be implemented where required.
• Allday-to-dayadministrationrequiredtoassisttheBuyerandensurethe efficient buying of product.
• Beingcommerciallyawareofourcompetitorsandtheirseasonalproductand price changes.
• Highlyorganisedandkeepontopofkeydiarydatescomingup,toensure deadlines are met.

TheSuccessfulCandidate will:

• ExperienceofMenswear.
• Naturalabilitytoidentifyfuturefashiontrendsandarealpassionfor product.
• Haveanin-depthknowledgeofthecurrent market.
